March 2024

Recent Achievements

Knox for Liberty volunteers continue to champion faith, family, and freedom:

· Our Leadership Team is starting to plan for our next Freedom Fest. We have a tentative date of September 28, so please mark your calendar. Talk to Tracey via [email protected] if you would like to volunteer.

· Our Government team continues to share the news on the Tennessee legislative session. Please actively visit our social channels and read our emails for Calls to Action during the session, so you can participate in supporting and opposing bills that will impact our liberty here in Tennessee.

· Our Marketing team has been busy making videos for the legislative session, companion posts on our social media channels, and updates to our website. Be sure to like and share our posts and subscribe to our video channels. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to our emails & newsletters. It’s an easy way to help us grow.

· Our Membership and Recruitment teams are making amazing plans for this year. We’ll have fun events to strengthen our existing connections and outreach events to find more like-minded people in Knox County. See the first two events of the year below.

The spring election is March 5. If you have not voted yet, please plan to vote on that day. If you would like information about the elections this year and candidates who are running, see the election information document on our website.

Candace Owens will be speaking at the UTK Student Union Ballroom on March 5 at 7pm. This is sponsored by Turning Point USA. You can get FREE tickets online. Seating is first come, first served.

Mark your calendar and join us Monday, March 11, for the KFL monthly meeting at 6706 Central Avenue Pike. Meet and greet starts at 6:30pm and the meeting starts at 7:00. This month, our featured speaker will be Amanda Klug, who will share her thoughts on “Why Christians should be Involved in Politics.” We’ll also talk about the results of the March election and the latest on Advance Knox Growth Policy Plan.

On Friday, March 15, we’ll have our first KFL Meetup of the year. We’ll be at Schulz Brau Brewing Company, 126 Bernard Avenue in Knoxville, starting at 6PM. Schulz Brau will be a regular location for us, alternating with Creekside Good Food – Good Vibes.

The Tennessee Conservative is hosting a Protect Tennessee's Borders Rally on Wednesday, March 20, in Nashville. Amazing speakers are being lined up for this essential event.  Visit ProtectTNBorders.com for more information and to sign up for event communications.

Our sister TCGC member, CCT of Loudon County, will be hosting the Secure Honest Elections event on March 23 at Loudon High School from 1-6pm. Online tickets can be purchased here.

We’ll be helping people register to vote and learn more about our group on April 20 at the Gibbs Car Show. We need volunteers to staff the booth that day. Please email Jesse at [email protected] if you are willing to help.

Support us!

If you like what we do and want to enable us to keep doing it, make a donation online or at our next meeting.  Our volunteers are extremely dedicated, but we have expenses, like our tax bill coming up, and we need your help to pay them.
