Knox County Commission Meeting

Greetings, Liberty Lions!

We have an important “watchdog” opportunity coming up Wednesday, February 25th, 5:00pm at the Knox County Commission Meeting where Commissioner Andy Fox will be presenting “A Christian’s Biblical View of Illegal Immigration” (Agenda Item RLA-18044). Andy’s perspective on this topic has previously been met with antagonism. We intend to strengthen and support him with our presence and if you choose, your VOICE.

Several patriots plan on attending together. Chris Treadwell is our point person. He will be hosting a virtual Zoom Meeting on Monday, February 16^th at 7pm for planning and questions. Location: City County Building, Main Assembly Room, 400 Main Street in Knoxville. The main assembly room is to your right after you go through the metal detectors at the entrance (no weapons allowed). 

We encourage wearing patriotic colors. Look for your fellow patriots sitting up front and right of center as much as possible. The Young Republicans will be present during the meeting AND available to escort people to their car afterwards.

In order to speak you must sign up by 4:00pm the day before the meeting. You can do so online at https://commission.knoxcountytn.gov/public-forum-request-to-speak or by calling (865) 215-2534. Note: Same day registration can be done in person at the dais prior to the start of the meeting with the Commission Vice Chair or the Commission Office Manager.
