January 2025
Let the New Year Begin
We hope that you and your family had a very blessed Christmas, and we pray for a New Year filled with hope, faith, prosperity, revelation of truth, meaningful action to restore our republic, the renewal of our constitutional freedoms, and a return to one nation under God.
We expect many changes in the upcoming year and decided to make some of our own for 2025. Our Knox for Liberty Meetings will now be held on the first Monday of the month, which means our next meeting is January 6th . So, please mark your calendar!
TCGC Freedom Fest
Our Tennessee Constitutional Grassroots Coalition (TCGC) partners are already hard at work planning the 2025 Freedom Fest. The event is scheduled for October 4th and will again be held at the Tate & Lyle Amphitheater in Loudon. We are looking for sponsors and help with billboards and advertising. If you have a business or billboard and would like to participate, please contact [email protected].
Volunteer Opportunities
In this new year, we pray for an end of the apathy and complacency in our county. We pray for our neighbors to recognize their responsibility to participate in and to influence the governance of our community and for lions who will rise and join our efforts. We need volunteers in many areas. If you want to help us protect faith, family, and freedom, please reach out to Tracey at [email protected].
Time to Roar
Please take these opportunities to get involved in Knox County and make your voice heard.
January 6th @ 7pm, 6706 Central Ave Pike. Join us at the next Knox for Liberty Meeting. Meet and greet starts at 6:30pm and the meeting starts at 7:00. Guest speakers will be State Representative Elaine Davis and District 7 Commissioner Rhonda Lee. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn what to expect in the upcoming state legislative session as well as hear the latest updates from the Knox County Commission. Bring some friends!
January 9th @ 6pm, Jefferson City Library. Jefferson County GOP Chair David Seal will present a legislative training session. Learn more about the legislative process and how to track legislation.
January 11th @ 10am, Powell Public Library, 330 W Emory Rd. The Knox County GOP will meet to decide the voting process for their reorganization convention, which determines party leadership. The current leadership has failed Knox County on multiple occasions and even supported known Democrats running as Republicans in at least 2 recent races. They also neglected to identify and promote Republicans for several seats, resulting in Democrat wins for those offices. They have been known to shun true conservatives and are attempting to silence our voices by creating a delegated convention, which they can control. You can read a full explanation of the issue in The Tennessee Conservative.
We need “all hands on deck” to prevent them from circumventing the state bylaws and creating an avenue for current leadership to retain their control. The people of Knox County deserve a more active, trustworthy, conservative Republican Party. If we are going to protect our faith, family, and freedom, it begins with a party that will effectively and faithfully represent us. We need YOU to show up for this meeting as well as the convention in March. Bring your Bonafide Republican friends, and spread the word!
January 27th @ 5pm, City-County Building, 400 Main St . Knox County Commission will hold their regular monthly meeting. You can sign up to speak by calling 865-215-2534 or submitting a request on their online contact form no later than 4pm on the day prior to the meeting.
