A New Dawn in Knox County

Huge thanks to all the patriots who took the time to show up and elect new leadership for the Knox County GOP on March 29th . We are beyond excited for the opportunity for Chair Martin Daniel and the rest of his team to create an energetic and innovative atmosphere in the party with plenty of room for conservative patriots. Now, we have a lot of work to do. City elections are coming up, and we need good conservative Republican candidates for city council.

ACTION ITEM: To keep this momentum going, we must make sure the state is in synch with new conservative GOP leadership across the state. This momentum is being threatened by House Bill 855/Senate Bill 799, which has an amendment that would prohibit county parties from holding conventions to elect officers. Contact Senator Richard Briggs at [email protected] or 615-741-1766 NOW and let him know that we do NOT support this attempt by the state to control county parties. Ask him to vote NO! This bill will be heard on April 2nd!!

Call for Conservative Candidates

We are looking for City Council candidates for districts 1 and 6. If you are ready to get involved in your community by changing the trajectory of our city, which is currently on the wrong liberal, woke path, it’s time to pick up a petition and get it returned by May 15th . Please pray and consider running for one of these seats or reach out to good conservatives in your district and encourage them to run. This is our best opportunity to save our city. Let’s take advantage of it.

Coalition Update

Fentress County has joined our coalition and hit the ground running by helping our volunteers who monitor and report weekly on Tennessee legislation. Unfortunately, Montgomery County has recently disbanded their group; so, we are looking for a conservative grassroots group in that area as well as other counties throughout the state. To see a full list of organizations in our coalition, just go to tcgc1776.org.

Have you been keeping up with how your representatives and senators are voting? Be sure to follow TCGC1776 on Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and Rumble to get the latest info on what’s happening each week. Also, be sure to read our weekly legislation summary with our top calls to action and so much more. Our volunteers spend every weekend during the session reviewing bills and votes and then passing the info along to all of you to take action and hold them accountable. They’re working hard for all of us. Let’s show our gratitude by making our voices heard by our legislators.
