Pray4TN Nashville Event

Well friends, the month of July is over, but that doesn’t mean that Tennessee has stopped repenting, fasting, and praying. If you have been following Pray4TN on social media or on their website, you know that thanks to TN House Joint Resolution 51, prayer events happened throughout the month in all 95 counties. Now, it’s time for the statewide gathering in Nashville on August 2^nd! Details are below and on their website at Pray4TN.us.

KFL Meeting Monday

Our next meeting is this coming Monday August 4th @ 7pm at 6706 Central Avenue Pike. Doors open at 6:30pm to socialize with old friends and make some new ones. This month’s speaker will be Brent Gibson, candidate for Knox County Sheriff. This is one of the most important positions in our county, responsible for protecting us and upholding the U.S. Constitution.  Remember we have to do our research because it’s important who we elect. Bring some friends and join us!

GOP Back to School BBQ

The Knox County GOP will be hosting a Back to School BBQ! The event is free to all and will take place Saturday, August 9^th , beginning at 5:00 pm at the Marble Pavilion, Lakeshore Park (address is in the flyer).  There will be chicken and pork BBQ, sides, drinks, ice cream games and music. We are so grateful to have an active GOP in our county.

August 7th @ 5pm, Summer Place Building, 500 W. Summit Hill Dr. Knox County School Board will meet for their regular monthly meeting.

August 25^th @ 5pm, Main Assembly Room of the City-Council Building, 400 Main St SW. Knox County Commission will hold their regular monthly meeting.

Coalition Update
