August 2024
Make Your Vote Count!
Election day is Thursday, August 1. If you haven’t voted yet, download the Knox County Voter Information flyer. There are voting tips on the front page and candidate info on the back. Polls will be open from 8 am to 8 pm in every precinct.
There are close elections in 4 Knox Country districts and a competitive State Senate race. We’ve seen in recent elections that candidates can win or lose on less than 10 votes, so please do your part and invite at least 3 friends or neighbors to do the same.
Join us at the next Knox for Liberty meeting on Monday, August 12, at 6706 Central Avenue Pike. Meet and greet starts at 6:30pm and the meeting starts at 7:00. This month we’ll be celebrating our group’s second anniversary. Bring your thoughts on how Knox for Liberty can make even greater strides for faith, family, and freedom in our third year. Bring some friends, too!
Meetup for Dinner
Our next monthly meetup will be at Creekside Good Food Good Vibes on Friday, August 16. Guaranteed great food, drinks, and conversation with freedom enthusiasts, so come out and bring a friend. Pets are welcome, too, at this fun outdoor venue.
Celebrate Freedom
Freedom Fest ’24 will be in Loudon on Saturday, September 28, from noon to 8PM. Thanks to our Tennessee Constitutional Grassroots Coalition (TCGC), we’ll have an even more amazing lineup of speakers and entertainers this year, and it will be free to attend! So, go ahead and reserve your free tickets now on our KFL website or the TCGC website.
We need sponsors! If you know an organization or business that would like to sponsor a booth or a speaker, email Tracey. And please give, any amount appreciated, to help us pay for items at the KFL booth. Huge thanks to everyone who donated and volunteered to decorate our float for the Farragut Independence Day parade!

· Senator Marsha Blackburn and Vivek Ramaswamy are hosting a free Meet & Greet Reception on August 15 at 6pm in downtown Knoxville. Send your RSVP to [email protected].
· Our TCGC partner, Roane for Liberty, will be hosting Brandon Lewis, founder of The Tennessee Conservative at their July 30 meeting. Send this info to your Roane County friends, and let’s help this group grow!
· The entire month of July was designated as a month of prayer and fasting in TN thanks to HJR803. On July 31, there will be a celebration in Nashville. The prayers in Knoxville were very powerful, and we expect that this one will be as well. But, we shouldn’t need the General Assembly to spur us to prayer and fasting for our county, state, and country. We must continually fast, pray, and be bold like the lions we have been called to be.
