Legislative Update

The session is in the last week of consideration. Only the Finance Committee & Floor Votes remain. Your personal email to these elected officials will hold them ACCOUNTABLE. Make sure you take a look at the “Bills to Celebrate” section of the Legislation Summary for the victories that have come from all your efforts.

The calls-to-action are listed first on TCGC’s Legislation Summary. This living document updates every weekend. It is a tool that gives you a bill number, description, who to contact, and date of the vote. The information is hyperlinked for ease of use. If Tennessee Stands is following the legislation, we’ve included a direct link to their email tool as well.

• Legislation Summary  - download or work directly from the webpage

• Contact Column - click on committee name, opens up committee page with contact info

• Email all members - click on it, populates your email  TO: with all email addresses

• Email Subject Line - put bill number & whether you support or oppose

• Write Email Body - why you support/oppose, TCGC supporter, your contact info

• Send Email - CONGRATS
