Legislative Update & Calls to Action

Week ending 3/8/24

Hello, patriots!

This upcoming week will be a critical time for ALL conservatives to take action and make your voices heard. There are several important bills being heard and voted on this week, and we need YOU to contact your representatives and senators to ensure their votes align with protecting our faith, family, and freedom! A few of these bills are included in our calls to action at the bottom of this email. But there are so many more being heard. You can find information about several bills we are tracking on our 2024 Legislation Summary. Please share this summary with all your conservative friends and ask them to take action with you!

Bills for Immediate Action

HB2795 / SB2775 Limited Government – Establishes five paths for the citizens of Tennessee to nullify unconstitutional federal overreach, including a petition process. These crucial bills are in jeopardy and need YOUR assistance. Please SUPPORT these bills by contacting the House Public Service Subcommittee & Senate State & Local Government Committee before March 12. You can also use the TN Stands response tool, but Your presence in these committees during voting would be even better.  

HB0640 / SB0479 Limited Government – Redefines money and paves the way for a Central Bank Digital Currency, which will be weaponized against us. OPPOSE these bills by contacting the House Business & Utilities Subcommittee & Senate Commerce & Labor Committee before March 12. You can also use the TN Stands response tool.

HB2803 / SB2735 / SB2737 Limited Governmentallows the state treasurer to securely produce, store, process, and ship bullion products for the state's depository/ authorizes the treasurer to purchase precious metals. SUPPORT these bills by contacting the House Dept & Agencies Subcommittee & Senate Commerce & Labor Committee before March 12.

HB1667 / SB1695  Second Amendment – Authorizes local governments to regulate storage of firearms in your vehicle while unoccupied. OPPOSE these bills by contacting the House Civil Justice Subcommittee & Senate Judiciary Committee before March 12.

HB2825 / SB1686  Second Amendment – Authorizes "gun-free" counties by county referendum. OPPOSE these bills by contacting the House Civil Justice Subcommittee & Senate Judiciary Committee before March 12.
