Presidential Delegate Voting

Hello, liberty lions!

We hope you have either already voted or plan to vote on March 5th. We have received questions about voting for presidential delegates. While we are focused on Knox County and Tennessee, we also recognize the importance of the national candidates. Hopefully, the below information will help you when you go to vote. Also, don’t forget to screenshot or download our voting guide to use when you vote! https://www.knoxforliberty.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Knox-County-Voter-Information-2024.pdf

Conservative Voters – Be SURE You Are Fully Voting

Please VOTE for 14 Delegates that represent your Presidential Primary Choice! Also, vote for 3 Presidential delegates that represent your Congressional District. Why? Because it is the delegates that represent you at the National Republican Convention. As voters, we send the state delegates from Tennessee who will cast their vote for the candidate we chose. If we do not take the opportunity to send all 14 delegates and three delegates from our Congressional district, we will not have the voting influence we need!

Here is an explanation of how delegates function from the Associated Press:

"Although voters across the country cast ballots for their preferred presidential candidate during the presidential primary season, it's actually the delegates to the national party conventions who select the presidential nominees for each major party. Much like in the general election, where a candidate needs a majority of votes in the Electoral College to win the White House, in the primaries, candidates need a majority of delegate votes at the convention to win the party's presidential nomination. Winning the popular vote in a primary or caucus may give a candidate bragging rights and media attention, but it's the candidate who accumulates a majority of delegates who ultimately advances to the general election."

PLEASE FULLY VOTE FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF YOUR CHOICE BY VOTING FOR ALL OF THE DELEGATES REPRESENTING YOUR CANDIDATE.

Let’s roar, lions!
